WHERE IS THE CEREMONY?

Our ceremony mass will begin at 1:30 PM sharp at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Poughkeepsie, NY. Please arrive 15 minutes early.

WHERE IS THE RECEPTION?

Join us for dinner and dancing at The Grandview in Poughkeepsie, NY. Cocktail hour begins at 6:30 PM, followed by a formal reception from 7:30 - 11:30 PM.

WHAT CAN I DO BETWEEN THE CEREMONY AND THE RECEPTION?

We know there's a bit of time between our ceremony and the reception, and we want to make sure you have plenty of options to relax and enjoy the day! Here are a few suggestions:

  • Check into your hotel: If you're staying nearby, this is a great time to check into your room, freshen up, and get ready for the celebration.

  • Mingle with guests: Head to the lobby at your hotel to unwind with a drink. It's a perfect spot to meet other guests before the shuttles arrive.

  • Visit Shadows on the Hudson: If you don’t have hotel accommodations, visit Shadows on the Hudson, a beautiful restaurant attached to The Grandview, where the reception will be held. They offer delicious food and stunning views of the river, making it an ideal spot to relax before the festivities.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY HOTEL ROOM?

To ensure rates and availability please book your accommodations no later than August 6th 2025.

WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION?

Shuttle service will be available between the hotels and reception venue. Details on pick-up and drop-off times will be shared closer to the event. Please note: There will be no transportation to and from the ceremony.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE CHURCH AND VENUE?

Yes, parking will be available at Holy Trinity Church and The Grandview. The Grandview will have attendants on-site to assist with parking.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

We want everyone to enjoy the meal! Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we will work with our caterer to accommodate your needs.

CAN I BRING A PLUS-ONE?

We have reserved seating for invited guests. Please refer to your invitation to see if a plus-one was included.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Yes! We will be offering a full open bar throughout the evening, serving beer, wine, and a selection of cocktails.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Our reception will be a formal affair. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, while ladies can opt for long dresses, or elevated cocktail or midi styles. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Note: There’s a few hours between the church ceremony and reception — while not necessary, guests are welcome to change into evening attire if they’d prefer.

IS THERE AN AFTER PARTY?

We will be continuing the party at the Homewood Suites lobby after the reception.

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO RSVP?

Please follow the instructions when you receive your invitation. We must receive your RSVP by August 22nd in order to ensure reserved seating. We appreciate your understanding.
